LEGO Trains & Boats Light Kits

Portholes along the hull, lamps down the carriages. Hundreds of hours of building finally read as a voyage instead of a shelf object.

FAQ - LEGO Trains & Boats Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

Can I light a train that actually runs?
A running train needs onboard power; a display train uses the standard USB kit for the locomotive lamps and the carriage interiors. Each product page states which case it is designed for.
What is the best way to display the Titanic?
Lit portholes. Hundreds of tiny windows glowing along the hull at night is the transformation on the Titanic 10294. Add an acrylic case and it becomes a museum piece — ours are cut for the full hull length.
Can a curved hull be lit without visible wiring?
Yes. The cables run inside the hull structure and the LEDs sit behind the porthole and window pieces, so the exterior lines stay clean.
Which trains and boats are covered?
The Titanic, the Hogwarts Express™, the Orient Express style trains and the holiday trains among others. Search by set number for your model.
Does each carriage light separately?
Yes. Every carriage has its own LEDs with a connection between cars, so the train still comes apart for handling and transport.
Can I light a train and its station together?
Yes. Chain the train kit to the building kits through a splitter and the whole scene runs off one supply.
