Lord of the Rings LEGO Light Kits

Golden lanterns in Rivendell, fire up the tower. Middle-earth was written in light and shadow, and your shelf can be too.

FAQ - Lord of the Rings LEGO Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

Is there a kit for Rivendell?
Yes. It lights the elven architecture in the golden autumn tone of the films — lanterns, interior scenes, accents at the waterfall — with the cabling hidden in the rockwork of set 10316.
How long does a set of this size take?
Plan a weekend, in stages. These are five thousand piece builds, and the kits install section by section following the set's own structure, so you can stop at any point.
Can the Eye actually glow on Barad-dur?
Yes — it is the centrepiece of that kit, with fiery accents up the tower completing the look. It is one of the most dramatic single effects we make.
Which Middle-earth sets are covered?
Rivendell™, Barad-dûr™ and the companion releases. Search your set number.
Are the two tuned differently?
Completely. Rivendell™ gets golden warmth, Barad-dûr™ gets fire and shadow. Each kit's palette follows its location in the films.
Can both share one power source?
Yes. A splitter chains them, so light and dark Middle-earth™ sit side by side on one supply.
