Is a light kit worth it on a set as small as a Speed Champions car?
It is the cheapest way into a lit display, and a row of glowing cars on a shelf looks superb. These are also the quickest kits to fit, usually under an hour.
How do LEDs fit inside such a small car?
Single LEDs the size of a stud drop into the headlight and tail light recesses, with fine cable running under the chassis. There is more room inside these bodies than you would expect.
Can several cars share one power supply?
Yes. A splitter chains them onto one USB cable, which is exactly what you want for a garage-style shelf.
Which cars are covered?
Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, McLaren, Ford and more — most of the current line-up plus the popular retired cars. Search by set number.
Do the kits cover double packs?
Yes. A double pack gets one kit covering both cars, sharing power so the pair lights together.
What is the best way to display a lit collection?
A dedicated shelf or a row of acrylic cases, kits chained onto one supply. Our Acrylic Displays collection has cases cut for this scale.
