LEGO Art Light Kits

A mosaic in a dim room is a flat wall. Lit properly, the colours come back and the piece reads as art again instead of decoration.

FAQ - LEGO Art Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

Do you light an Art piece from the front or behind?
Both exist. Lighting along the frame edge washes the mosaic surface; lighting from behind creates a halo on the wall. Each kit uses whichever suits that piece and how it is mounted.
Does a wall-mounted set need special wiring?
Only a discreet USB run along the frame edge and down the wall line — or none visible at all if there is a socket behind the piece. Never mains wiring.
Does light improve a mosaic, or wash out the colours?
Even, indirect light deepens them. Mosaics suffer from dim ambient light and glare, which is exactly what LEDs fix. The kits are calibrated to illuminate without hotspots.
Which Art sets are covered?
The portraits, the botanical pieces and the scene mosaics. Search your set number.
Can a lit piece still hang normally?
Yes. The kits respect the sets' own hanging systems and add only a little weight and a cable exit at the frame edge.
Can several pieces make a gallery wall?
Yes. They share power through chained connections, so a whole wall lights evenly from one supply.
