FAQ - The Newest Light Kits for Your LEGO® Sets

Got questions? We have answers.

How soon after a LEGO set comes out can I light it?
Usually within weeks of a major release. We design on the physical set, measuring LED placement and cable routing on the real thing, so a kit for a flagship Icons or Star Wars™ launch arrives quickly without guesswork.
Should I light a new set while building it or once it is finished?
Either works. On large sets, installing as you build is easier — you place the LEDs as each section comes together instead of lifting it off later. The instructions tell you the right moment for each light, whichever way you go.
Are kits for brand-new sets tested?
Every one is built and checked on the physical set before release: brightness, cable lengths, connector fit. A new kit goes through the same process as one we have sold for years, with the same warranty and support.
Which recent sets can I light?
This collection gathers our newest kits across every theme — Icons display pieces, Star Wars™ ships, Technic supercars, modular buildings, seasonal sets. It updates continuously, so check here after each LEGO® release wave.
Can I pre-order a kit for a set that is not out yet?
When a kit is finished before or alongside the set's launch, it goes on sale straight away. Follow this collection or join the newsletter to know the moment one appears.
My set has no kit yet. Will there be one?
Very likely if it is a display set. We choose what to develop next largely from what collectors ask for, so send us the set number — requests genuinely move things up the list.
