A fitted acrylic case, and that is the whole answer. Dust is what ruins a displayed set, and a case ends the weekly cleaning entirely. Ours are cut for specific set numbers, so there is no wasted bulk around the model.

It is lighter, clearer at the edges, far safer around a brick model, and cut to the set rather than approximated. On a set worth several hundred euros, a fitted case is inexpensive insurance.

A soft microfibre cloth with water, or a cleaner made for acrylic. Never an ammonia-based glass product. A wipe once a month keeps the case invisible, which is the point.
