FAQ - Star Wars LEGO Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

What is the best kit for the Millennium Falcon?
For the UCS Millennium Falcon™ 75192, choose one with engine glow, a lit cockpit and interior lighting — the rear engine effect alone changes the whole ship. Our kits follow the hull's internal gaps, so nothing shows from outside.
Can you light a Star Wars ship without the wires showing?
That is most of the design work. Cables run through the channels the Technic frame already creates and the connections sit inside the hull. At normal viewing distance you see light, not wiring.
Are sabre and engine glow effects possible?
Yes — engine glow, cockpit light, cannon points and hangar floods are standard on our Star Wars™ kits. On the larger ships a splitter lets dozens of LEDs run from a single USB cable.
Which Star Wars sets are covered?
UCS ships including the Millennium Falcon™, Star Destroyers and the AT-AT™, plus helmets, dioramas and midi-scale models. Current and retired sets both — search by set number.
Do the kits work with UCS stands and plaques?
Yes. They are designed around the official display configuration, stand clearance and plaque included, and the USB cable exits discreetly at the stand or the rear of the model.
Which Star Wars set is the most dramatic to light?
Anything with engines and a cockpit — the Falcon, the Star Destroyers, the Republic gunships. Trench and hangar dioramas come close, because their layered depth catches the light.
