LEGO Vehicles Light Kits

Anything with wheels, wings or a hull looks parked until you light it. Then it looks driven, flown, sailed. Same set, entirely different shelf.

FAQ - LEGO Vehicles Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

Can I add realistic lights to a display vehicle?
Yes. The kits reproduce the real light positions — headlights, tail lights, indicators, interior, underglow where it suits. Because each kit targets one set number, the LEDs sit where the actual vehicle's lights are.
Will I see the wiring through the windows?
Not if it is routed properly. Cables run under the chassis and up through the pillar gaps, and the instructions show the exact path so the view through the windscreen stays clean.
Can I reuse a kit if I rebuild or modify the model?
Yes. Everything unplugs and repositions, and the adhesive pads are replaceable. If you customise the build, the DIY components let you extend or rearrange what came in the kit.
What does this collection cover?
Cars, trucks, motorcycles, aircraft, trains and boats, across Icons, Technic, Speed Champions and Creator. It is the parent collection — the themed ones narrow it down.
Which vehicles change the most with lighting?
Those with transparent parts and visible interiors: Technic supercars, the Icons vehicles with detailed cabins, anything with engine detail. Underglow gives even a small model real presence.
Do you cover retired vehicle sets?
Yes. Retired classics stay in the catalogue, so a car you built years ago can still be lit today.
