LEGO Formula 1 Light Kits

The rain light pulsing, the halo edged in colour. Three lights in the right places, and the car reads like the grid at Singapore.

FAQ - LEGO Formula 1 Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

Can you light an F1 car convincingly?
Yes, and it takes very few lights. The rear rain light, accents around the halo and a little underglow are the ones motorsport fans recognise immediately.
Are these official LEGO or F1 products?
No. They are independently designed kits, compatible with LEGO® F1® sets. Each one is engineered for a specific set number so it follows the bodywork without any modification.
Is a kit a good gift for an F1 fan who builds LEGO?
One of the best, because it upgrades a set they already own into something they display. Pair it with an acrylic case and the gift is complete.
Which F1 sets are covered?
The Technic and Speed Champions F1® ranges — team cars, garage sets and the collectible scales. Search your set number to match.
Does the rear light actually flash?
On the kits that include the effect, yes — it pulses the way the real rain light does. Each product page lists the effects for that model.
Can I light a full grid?
Yes. Chain several car kits through a splitter onto one USB supply for a grid or a garage display.
