How do I make a LEGO car look like a showroom model?
Three things: accurate headlight and tail light LEDs, a little interior light, and a dark room. A lit car on a shelf at dusk reads as a scale model rather than a toy — it is the upgrade owners mention most.
Do truck kits light the trailer?
Where the set has one, yes — running lights, rear lamps and cab lighting, with the connection at the hitch so the trailer still detaches.
Are the kits safe around stickers and printed pieces?
Yes. The adhesive pads never go on a printed or stickered surface, and the LEDs run cold. The instructions specify placement so the decals stay untouched.
Which cars and trucks are covered?
Icons vehicles, Creator 3-in-1 cars and the truck sets, from classic muscle cars to modern haulers. Search your set number for the exact kit.
Can I light only the headlights?
The kits are sold complete because that is where the value is, but the DIY components collection sells individual LEDs and strands if you want something minimal.
Do the kits include indicator and brake colours?
Yes. Amber, red and white are placed to match real vehicle lighting conventions, which is what sells the realism at display distance.
