LEGO Architecture Light Kits

Skylines belong to the night. Micro-lights in the towers turn a desk model back into the city it was drawn from.

FAQ - LEGO Architecture Light Kits

Got questions? We have answers.

What is the best way to display an Architecture skyline?
Backlit, at dusk. These sets are cityscapes at night by subject, and small LEDs in the towers recreate exactly that. On a console or an office shelf, a lit skyline reads as decor rather than a model.
Can micro-scale buildings even take LEDs?
Yes. Single LEDs small enough to sit under one stud handle the towers, and strands light the baseplate from below. The Architecture kits are designed around those tiny footprints.
Is a lit Architecture set suitable for a desk?
It is ideal. USB power plugs straight into a laptop or a monitor hub, and the light is subtle enough for a professional space.
Which Architecture sets are covered?
The skylines and the landmark sets, from city panoramas to standalone monuments. Search your set number for the match.
Do landmark kits light the interior or just the facade?
It depends on the model. Each kit lights what the real building is known for — facade floodlighting, a spire, the windows. The product pages show each one installed.
Which colour suits these sets?
Warm white for the most part, because it matches real architectural floodlighting. A few models add accent colours where the actual landmark uses them.
